Welcome to MacroMetric! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MacroMetric mobile application ("App") provided by BBapps ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using MacroMetric, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MacroMetric, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Have read and understood our Privacy Policy

2. Description of Service

MacroMetric is a nutrition tracking application designed to help users:

• Track and compare nutritional information of food products
• Scan product barcodes to retrieve nutritional data
• Calculate protein-to-calorie ratios and other nutritional metrics
• Save and organize products for easy reference
• Access scan history to view previously scanned products (including offline access)
• Compare multiple products side by side
• Calculate leftover calorie allowances and product values

3. User Accounts

MacroMetric uses anonymous authentication, which means:

• You do not need to create an account with personal information
• An anonymous identifier is automatically created for you
• Your data is associated with this anonymous identifier
• If you uninstall the App or clear data, you may lose access to your saved information

4. MacroMetric Pro Subscription

4.1 Subscription Options

MacroMetric offers premium features through "MacroMetric Pro" with the following purchase options:

• Monthly Subscription: A recurring subscription that automatically renews each month until cancelled.
• Lifetime Purchase: A one-time payment that grants permanent access to all Pro features.

4.2 Subscription Features

MacroMetric Pro may include enhanced features such as:

• Unlimited barcode scans
• Offline product lists
• Advanced comparison tools
• Additional calculators and features
• Priority support

4.3 Billing and Payment

• All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Payment will be charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase
• Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region
• Prices are subject to change, but changes will not affect active subscriptions until renewal

4.4 Automatic Renewal

For monthly subscriptions:

• Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's account settings

4.5 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings
• Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods
• Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies
• Lifetime purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law

4.6 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered:

• The trial period will be specified at the time of signup
• You will not be charged during the free trial period
• If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged
• Unused portions of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

5. User Conduct

When using MacroMetric, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or any related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the App
• Use the App to transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App
• Misuse the feedback or support systems

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Rights

MacroMetric and all its contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to design, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software) are owned by BBapps and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MacroMetric for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

6.3 User Content

Any product data or information you add to the App remains your property. However, by using the App, you grant us a license to store and process this data to provide the service.

7. Third-Party Services and Content

7.1 Open Food Facts

MacroMetric retrieves nutritional information from Open Food Facts, a collaborative database. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of this data. Users should verify nutritional information independently.

7.2 App Stores

Your use of MacroMetric is also subject to the terms and conditions of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store from which you downloaded the App.

7.3 RevenueCat

Subscription management is handled through RevenueCat. Your purchase transactions are subject to RevenueCat's terms of service.

8. Disclaimers

8.1 "As Is" Basis

MacroMetric is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or completeness of nutritional data

8.2 No Medical Advice

MacroMetric does not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. The App is for informational purposes only. Always consult qualified health professionals for dietary guidance.

8.3 Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate nutritional information, we cannot guarantee that all data is correct, complete, or up-to-date. Nutritional values may vary based on product variations, serving sizes, and other factors.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• BBapps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for MacroMetric Pro in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your reliance on nutritional information provided by the App
• We are not liable for any loss of data, including saved products or preferences

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BBapps and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of MacroMetric
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you submit through the App

11. Modifications to the App and Terms

11.1 App Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue MacroMetric (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

11.2 Terms Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms in the App
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending a notification through the App (for significant changes)

Your continued use of MacroMetric after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to MacroMetric immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You breach any provision of these Terms
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the App

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of MacroMetric shall be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiation between the parties
• If negotiation fails, binding arbitration or court proceedings as permitted by law

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BBapps regarding MacroMetric and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

16. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of those rights. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by BBapps.

17. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.

18. Apple App Store Additional Terms

If you downloaded MacroMetric from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:

• These Terms are between you and BBapps, not Apple
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for MacroMetric
• Apple is not responsible for any product warranties
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims related to MacroMetric
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms

19. Google Play Store Additional Terms

If you downloaded MacroMetric from Google Play Store, the following additional terms apply:

• These Terms are between you and BBapps, not Google
• Google has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for MacroMetric
• Google is not responsible for any product warranties
• Your use is also subject to Google Play's Terms of Service
